A creative bunch

Another person I found learking in the city of Auckland is a good mate from intermediate, Dylan.

He has since moved up here working for a company doing 3D animating, more specificly working on the Madagascar pingwin series for Nickelodeon, He is now working on the T.V series for Kung Fu Panda, And he's loving it.

So I popped in to say waddup and hang out...

Yes. This is part of his Office.

And this

When I said I popped over to see him, I meant I showed up and stopped him from working.

And this.

Sorry about the shit photos yo!!

But all in all a very very cool place to work, I am now regretting getting into cars and working in a cold garage. He is though very good at what he dose and I know this post had no relevance to cars but, This blog is about a car lover and his regretful journey to Dorkland.

Cheers for stopping by tho!

In the free time he hhad off we decided to go to MOTAT somewhere in Auckland, It was a very very cool place, Probly over 100 years worth of engineering greatness jammed into a small venue not too far from the Zoo.

He is a very happy man.

 Caleb looking uber queer

 Hipsters Paradise

A Mitsubishi as a cop car... Wonder why that never lasted.. tick tick tick tick..

It was an awsome day, Learnt some new thing's didn't take alot of the info in but a grouse experience, If your ever in Auckland with time to kill google this place 'cos I don't know were it is.

Thinking back

rem·i·nisce - Verb: Indulge in enjoyable recollection of past events.

This has been a god awful long week. No joke, Starting work at 6:30 am and finishing at 5:30 and dealing with cunts all day takes it out of you,

But as i was moving my stuff into my new room I came across a few box's that have defiantly gained some dust over the years so i went for a dig... And what i found put a smile back on my face and washed the crap from the week far far away.

This is only a small section of the comics , collectibles and the other nerdy crap that I hold for my brother as he now lives in the UK. Taking it all out and reading some of the comics and sorting through some of his collectibles took me back to a simpler time when all I had to worry about was getting out of homework and trying to stay up all hours of the night to play video games with my big brother, No stress No worries.. I envy those days.

So as you can see a hell of a lot of nerdy stuff, But all these things represent my brother in a huge way from his sealed star was Chronicles book to his millennium falcon model. I do miss him and I probably should email him... But I'm sure he's sweet.

Also while we are on the topic here are some things I cherish of my own that sit above my bed in honour of the people they are connected to.

The helmet on the left is from my very good friend Liam Harnett, *903* He got me the helmet for Christmas last year which blew me out of the water! and it was a symbol to me to go hard or go home, and well I've moved to Auckland so I haven't gone home!

The lighting Mcqueen was another Christmas gift from two great friends Tall friend AKA * Conan * and Milk * Chris * both are apart of team Phresh and Phurity along with Ordinary friend * Locky *
This gift also means alot to me because it was a slow christmas because of the detachment of me and my family and this is a symbol that represents that I have a whole extended family back home, Who said family comes down to blood right?

And lastly  the famous FR1SKI plate. It reminds me of home. Wellington city. Best place a person could grow up, sun, wind, rain, snow. So you get used to all types of weather and it hardens you. Not like these Auckland homos. But everyone has put there two cents into the car and that's why that car and this plate mean so much to me, Because of the people that took time out of there life to get me through the broken times and remember to reminisce every now and then. :)

Thanks to you all again

Bit of a boring one today but live with it. A wise man once said:

Alot to catch up on

Wow so I've been off for a while now. I guess this is the start of my new life up here in Auckland and the start of my online weekly rant, Not being written for others really but for my own sanity, Seeing as I only know a few other drifters up here a month in it gets pretty lonely.

The last month I've been sleeping at a family friends in her damp double garage, In a single bed next to my Silvia haha. A little rough but its a path I chose in order to be up here.

This was my wardrobe haha

And this was my room, No place like home.. Right?

So I've finally found a place in Albany with some nice chilled flatmate and a super nice location, Deffintly a place for some partys haha stayed tuned.

I'm smoked I'm off to sleep
